After 24 days in the incubator they finally thought I had cooked enough and they put me in an open cot. I would have moved to an open cot much sooner but I had just a tad bit of trouble regulating my body temperature. There's nothing special about the open cot. They still had me connected to that machine that monitored by heart and lungs though.
