Hide! It's the Eye Doctor!

The most feared man on the ward paid me a visit on 9 October -- the eye doctor. For weeks I had been hearing my mates scream in discomfort whenever this man dropped in. I just figured I'd clench my fists and take the pain.

So I thought. Sure enough, yours truly, screamed and howled just like everyone else.

You see the eye doctor doesn't just have us look at a chart and tell him what we see. No way, he takes this little probe and slides it in under my eye ball so he can get a good look at my retina which is in the back of the eye. Believe me, you don't want it to happen to you.

And what did he say? I can SEE! My vision is great!

Well, I'm going to need my good eyesight because rumour has it that I might be blowing this popstand and heading home as early as 27 October. That'll all depend on how my feeding goes. So stayed tuned ...
