Little by little, I was taking in more milk. I was now getting around 12 mL every two hours through the gavage tube. And on 11 September, 16 days after I was born, I was back at my birth weight -- 1330 grams. I was now gaining on the average around 30 grams a day.

So Week Three came and went. Mum and Dad came and went every day. And every day I got a cuddle and a little suck. The key now was just to relax and put on some weight.
